Getting motivated to get fit is no easy feat. That's why, here at Quotatium, were here to help you every step of the way. Getting fit doesn't happen just overnight unfortunately, it takes years of practice, patience, and endurance to overcome any obstacles, and accomplish your goals.
Athletes are hard workers, so we found a few to share how they got motivated:
1) Michael Jordan
MJ is the legendary basketball player who rewrote the history books in the NBA. Michael got his start at the University of North Carolina. He was the star of the Chicago Bulls, and later in his career the Washington Wizards. He's now an owner, and doing just fine. Michael Jordan came a long way, and without motivation he wouldn't be nearly as far. When he was only in high school he was cut from tryouts for his basketball team. Taking the loss hard, he didn't just give up and quit. He decided to use that pain to his advantage and practice everyday, getting better and better. Now, he is the man you've heard of today.
2) Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson may seem like he has it all: clothes, money, houses. But in the beginning of his life, he didn't have anything, literally. He was taken from a homeless shelter by his future coach, and trained year after year to become the legendary heavyweight fighter he was. When he was a little kid he was bullied and beat up constantly, so he decided to learn how to defend himself. If he had given up, you wouldn't of known Mike Tyson had ever had one of the quickest knock outs in boxing history.
3) Jackie Robinson
Jackie Robinson is one of the most well known baseball players of our time. His ability to run fast, and steal bases made it seem like a walk in the park. Except, he had a lot of trouble getting to his immortal status. When he started out in baseball, a black player on a white team was unheard of. Luckily for us, he broke those barriers so he could show us what it truly means to be great.
